Friendsofdavidedwards.com will treat your contact information as private and confidential. We will not provide your contact information to any other organization except Friendsofdavidedwards.com, unless you specifically authorize us to do so.
In certain cases, but only with your authorization, we will enable you to send individual e-mails through our Web site in your name, and with your e-mail address as the return address. When you write Letters-to-the-Editor to newspapers using our tool, your email address is used and your full name and contact information is provided as part of the submission.
Friendsofdavidedwards.com enables users to contribute to Friends of David Edwards. In so doing, Friendsofdavidedwards.com collects information necessary to process transactions securely and to comply with election contribution reporting requirements dictated by Oregon law. In accordance with state law, we report to the State Election Commission the name, address, occupation, employer, and employer’s address (city and state only) for each contributor. (Note: In accordance with state law Friends of David Edwards will not be accepting donations while the House of Representatives is in session.)
Information collected by Friendsofdavidedwards.com will be held for campaign purposes only and will be held securely by the campaign. Friendsofdavidedwards.com will not collect any individual information without your knowledge.
Friendsofdavidedwards.com analyzes log activity on our Web site for the sole purpose of obtaining aggregate information to provide a better experience for those accessing our site. The information obtained through our logs contains the following aggregate information. Unless you opt to give us specific information, your identity remains anonymous.
Children’s Information
Because we care about the safety and privacy of children online, we do not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. It is possible that we may receive information pertaining to children under 13 without our knowledge. If we are notified of this, once verified, we will obtain parental consent or otherwise delete the information from our servers.
